Ask the Addict: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA & DOLLHOUSE Spoilers, UGLY BETTY and More!

Hey TV Addict, as a loyal stalker follower of yours on twitter, I couldn’t help but notice that you’re off to New York this weekend, Can I ask why? — NotaStalker21
The TV Addict:
Certainly! After-all, this column ain’t called “Ask the Addict” for nothing. What originally was going to be a quick visit to the set of NBC’s exciting new series KINGS on Thursday turned into a full blown weekend extravaganza after your very own TV Addict was lucky enough to secure tickets to Lauren Graham’s Broadway debut in GUYS & DOLLS and a press pass to this weekend’s New York Comic Con. Where if all goes according to plan, I’ll be live blogging throughout the day on Sunday as I sit front row center in the DOLLHOUSE, FRINGE, LIFE ON MARS & CHUCK panels.

As per your earlier tweet, do you seriously expect us to believe that you’re doing “brunch with Michael Urie and Becki Newton?” — Jason
The TV Addict:
Ummm…. no. But if it helps, here’s a little breaking news. Michael Urie (@michaelurie) is officially following the TV Addict on twitter. Which as everybody who is anybody knows, is the first step to what will undoubtedly be the start of a beautiful bromance!

Were you connected enough to snag tickets to this weekend’s Bradley Cooper hosted installment of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE? — ArvinSloaneismyConstant
The TV Addict:
Sadly, no. But that doesn’t mean you, yes you, can’t help make this TV Addict’s dream come true. If your name is Lorne Michaels or you just so happen to be incredibly well connected within the hallowed hallways of 30 Rockefeller Center, please feel free to email me anytime at info@thetvaddict.com.

I’m still reeling from Friday’s Fraktastic BATTLESTAR GALACTICA cliffhanger. Please tell me Friday’s conclusion is just as exciting? — BaltersBoy
The TV Addict:
Having already had the pleasure of seeing Friday’s episode, there’s a heck of lot I could tell you. But before I do, let me ask you: Do you really want me to take all the fun out of the episode by spoiling it? And more importantly, is there any chance you would reward my kindness by hooking me up with a spare ticket to this weekend’s SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE?

Is there anything you can tell me that will assuage my fears about DOLLHOUSE? ˆ— WhedonEqualsLife
The TV Addict:
How’s this for news you can use. Episode two, entitled “Target,” is a huge step up from the somewhat of a downer series premiere. In fact, thanks to the perfect mix of a butt-kicking scantily clad Eliza Dushku, equally revealing flashbacks that shed some much needed light on how certain members found employment at the mysterious Dollhouse and the intriguing additions of a victimized Amy Acker (ANGEL) and a skeptical Mark Sheppard (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) “Target” is everything the DOLLHOUSE pilot should have been. So much so that I’m quite frankly shocked that the proverbial powers that be at FOX didn’t decide to launch the series with it.

Any thoughts with regards to yesterday’s scoop courtesy of Michael Ausiello that Christine Baranski will be joining the cast of UGLY BETTY as the mom of Betty’s new love interest Matt. —
The TV Addict:
I believe EW.com commentator Amanda took the words right of my mouth when she said, “Another love interest? This is what, the sixth or seventh now? For someone who is supposedly “Ugly”, Betty is quite the office mattress!”

Please tell me that you’re back on the bandwagon after HEROES incredible return on Monday. — SylarsArmyMember666
The TV Addict:
If by “back on the bandwagon” you mean cautiously optimistic, well, then yes. Now that’s not to say that Monday’s phenomenal final moments made up for the lackluster 55 minutes that preceded it. They simply may have been enough to keep me coming back until Bryan Fuller’s first episode premieres.

Okay spill, I need to know what happens on Friday’s BSG — IamtheFinalCylon
The TV Addict:
Friday’s episode features not just one, but two major character deaths. Care to know who bites the dust? How are those SNL tickets coming along?

Got any LOST scoop? — FuselageFanGirl15
The TV Addict:
According to our friends over at spoiler-tv.com, LOSTerminds Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are currently on the look out for “George,” a 10 year old child prodigy with brown hair and brown eyes who is sharp, very intelligent and extraordinarily gifted science student and musician.

Fine, I get it, no BSG scoop for me! Just tell me Adama and Tigh don’t end up one the wrong end of a double barreled shotgun (Or whatever kind of weaponry those treacherous bastards on Galactica are using!) — IamtheFinalCylon
The TV Addict:
Okay here’s the deal. You know that clip that has been circulating around the net this week that show Adama in front of a firing squad…. it is all a dream! But come’on, you didn’t really think that Adama and Tigh would end up being killed with only seven episodes remaining? Did you? Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for one of Tigh’s final five compatriots. Who not only ends the episode off with his life hanging in the balance, but also gets the distinct honor of serving as Friday’s cliffhanger.
