Tonight’s TV Addictions: April 17, 2009

NEW & NOTABLE:
HOWIE DO IT (8PM NBC, Global in Canada)
Howie conducts an interview while dealing with an upset stomach, pretends to be a psychic and takes part in other wildly exciting and endlessly amusing vignettes. And there’s a second episode on at 8:30 p.m. in case you just can’t get enough of Howie.

WIFE SWAP (8PM ABC)
Where do you put a mom you lives in a log cabin with no electricity? Why, into the home of a clan obsessed with wealth and status of course! Think of the lessons they’ll learn! This might be the most healing-oriented show on television! (Oh, I crack myself up.)

SUPERNANNY (9PM ABC)
Troubled kids. Hopeless parents. You know the drill.

DATELINE (9PM NBC)
A true story detailing the devotion of a police officer and an intern in solving a case. At two commercial-packed hours, you’re gonna have to be awfully devoted — or bored — to get through this one.

PRISON BREAK (8PM FOX)
Holy back tattoo! I would have sworn this show was already over for the season. Wisely, FOX is rerunning the last-to-air new episode at 8PM to help catch everyone up on what Linc, Michael and the rest are up to.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES (11PM SOAPnet)
Given how many people out there have a hate-on for Nicole, it’s likely that her and EJ’s wedding day will be one for the books!
