Morning Static: ALIAS, AS THE WORLD TURNS & DEXTER

• AS THE WORLD TURNS to stop turning in 2010, with CBS announcing that the daytime institution will end its run this September, following 54 years on the air.
• NBC finally gives us a reason to tune into LAW & ORDER: SVU, signing ALIAS alum Lena Olin for an upcoming guest spot.
• DEXTER kills… in the ratings, with Showtime announcing that Sunday’s instalment was the pay-cabler’s most watched episode since the Tyson-Norris fight in 1999. (FYI: Dexter Morgan could totally take Tyson, we’re just sayin’)
• The invasion continues, with TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES producers John Wirth and Natalie Chaidez joining ABC’s troubled V re-boot.
• The reviews are in, SNL’s MacGruber movie might not MacSuck.
