Holy Francofrenia! At the end of Friday’s GENERAL HOSPITAL, it seemed Jason-lovin’, serial-killin’, performance art-creatin’ madman known as Franco had met his maker. But was he pushed by mancrush Jason? Did he jump? Or is there something more than anyone imagined going on?

“Franco’s whole exhibit was about blurring the lines between reality and fantasy,” says executive Soaps In Depth Richard M. Simms. “So it probably won’t come as a huge surprise to anyone that Franco’s not actually dead.” What may come as a surprise, however, is the next step in his fiendish plan.


“As viewers know, Elizabeth’s baby is missing,” continues the editor. “What happens this week is pretty twisted, and it explains exactly what happened to the baby as well as why.” For details, pick up the latest issue of the mag, which also contains an interview with the winners of the Supercouple Smackdown. “Thousands of votes were cast over the course of the contest,” he says of the round which pitted ALL MY CHILDREN’s Zach and Kendall against ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s John and Natalie as well as GH’s Jason and Liz. “All three of the fanbases involved really threw their support behind the couples. It was pretty awesome to see.”
