5 Reasons Why You’re Not Going to Want to Miss the Second Season Premiere of LIFE UNEXPECTED

In a letter accompanying the DVD screener of LIFE UNEXPECTED’s second season premiere, executive producer and creator Liz Tigelaar had this to say with regards to the new season.

“We are thrilled to be able to continue telling the stories of these characters and this unlikely family and have worked hard to broaden out and expand the scope of the show, giving our familiar characters new conflicts challenges and victories. Hopefully you’ll like what what you see.”

Suffice to say, we didn’t just like what we sawy… we love it! Which is we’re dedicating Today’s TV Addict Top 5 to the reasons why you’re not going to want to miss the second season premiere of LIFE UNEXPECTED.

Unexpected surprises!
Move over Shonda Rhimes, there’s a far more unexpected turn of events in store for fans of LIFE UNEXPECTED when the show returns for its much-anticipated second season on September 14th. What’s more, said surprise will happen just prior to those now familiar guitar strings being plucked by theme songstress Rain Perry. And, we should mention, totally worth tuning in for.

Unexpected guest stars!
While we’re the first to admit that MELROSE PLACE’s Shaun Sipos joining the cast isn’t quite unexpected (thank you very much Matt Webb Mitovich!), his affect on one very lucky lady will be. Also adding to the amped up excitement and intrigue of LUX 2.0 is the opinionated and far too perky for her own good on-air personality at Cate and Ryan’s radio station named Kelly (Amy Price-Francis) as well as new bartender Paige (VAMPIRE DIARIES alum Arielle Kebbel). The latter of whom heats up Baze’s Bar in more ways than one!

Unexpected character developments!
As advertised, the premiere, appropriately titled “Oceans Uncharted” does everything a season premiere should. Easily allowing for new viewers to jump on the bandwagon (Note: That’s the majority of you reading this!), while introducing a whole slew of exciting possibilities (and did we mention really sexy newcomers) to the characters we’ve already grown to know and love.

Take Ryan and Baze for example, regardless of which “Team” you ended up on at the conclusion of last season, we guarantee that your opinion of both characters will be dramatically different by the time the credits role on the first season premiere. Oh, and for the record: Team Baze FTW!

Unexpected Hookups!
Good news for those fan still mourning the unceremonious cancelation of MELROSE PLACE. Not only is special guest star Amy Price-Francis (Pictured above) a shoe-in for a future instalment of “Separated at Birth” courtesy of her eerie similarity to MP vixen Laura Leighton. The new season of LIFE UNEXPECTED — while not quite as scandalous — definitely notches up the naughty. Lips are locked! Hook-ups are had! And in the grand tradition of primetime soaps, two-out-of-the-three new characters on the scene aren’t quite who they appear to be. Cue ominous music in 3… 2… 1…

Unexpected Exits!
Although we’re hesitant to say whether we’ve truly seen the last of this particular character, one fairly large part of LIFE UNEXPECTED’s first season makes — yup, you guessed it — an unexpected exit!
