As happy as we are to be able to report that FOX has just renewed their critically acclaimed Tuesday night laugher RAISING HOPE for a full season, there is one teensy little detail we found exceptionally humorous about the press release sent out by the network. According to FOX, RAISING HOPE was “one of the Top 5 new comedies among Adults 18-49.” According to us, touting RAISING HOPE as one of the Fall’s Top 5 comedies becomes somewhat less impressive when you dig a little deeper and discover that only 6 new comedies (Including RUNNING WILDE, BETTER WITH YOU, MIKE & MOLLY, $#*! MY DAD SAYS and OUTSOURCED) actually premiered this fall!
In related news, we promise to stop zeroing in on FOX’s foibles if they promise the exhibit a little patience with RUNNING WILDE. Suffice to say, while not perfect, we’ve kinda gotten use to spending a half-an-hour per week with Will Arnett and Keri Russell.
