The subject of this week’s ‘Blogger Beat Down’ are… various TVGuide.com staffers, who may-or-may-not have gone a wee bit overboard on the eggnog while compiling their annual year end wrap up this holiday season.
Out Take: How else to explain some inexcusable anomalies found amidst their “Best (and Worst) of the Year” package that included an episode of JERSEY SHORE (No, really) among their >”Top 25 Best Episode of 2010,” and more egregious still, saw them single out of THE EVENT’s Jason Ritter, MAD MEN’s Jessica Paré and WEEDS’ Alexander Gould as three of their “Fresh Faces” of 2010. The latter of which raises the slightly awkward albeit painfully obvious question: Does TVGuide.com grasp the concept of what exactly a “fresh face is?
Just in case, here’s a little refresher. BETTER WITH YOU newcomer Jake Lacy, fresh! Veteran actors Jason Ritter (JOAN OF ARCADIA, THE CLASS), Jessica Paré (JACK & BOBBY) and Alexander Gould, who has spent the last six seasons stealing scenes on WEEDS, not fresh!
Oh, and don’t even get us started on what you guys were thinking when it came to awarding HAWAII FIVE-0 a spot on your “Top TV show of 2010” list while spectacularly failing to recognize FRINGE.
