In response to today’s news that has AMC officially announcing a fifth season of MAD MEN, albeit a delayed one that will more than likely not see the show return until early 2012 as a result of what is being characterized as “ongoing key non-cast [read: Creator Matthew Weiner] negotiations” we here at theTVaddict.com couldn’t help but think of a handful of other shows in which absence made the heart grow fonder.
