ABC Pickuppalooza: Find Out the Fates of BROTHERS & SISTERS, V, HAPPY ENDINGS & More!

ABC has just picked up a slew of very exciting new series for Fall including the much buzzed-about CHARLIE’S ANGELS reboot; A sexy 60’s set soap revolving around stewardesses and pilots entitled PAN AM; Tim Allen’s return to comedy called LAST MAN STANDING; a single-camera comedy revolving around a Midwestern girl (Dreama Walker) whose big-city dreams are dashed upon the realization that her roommate is her worst nightmare (Krysten Ritter) in APARTMENT 23; A soap that accompanies a reformed “mean girl” (Leslie Bibb) who returns home to Dallas after her marriage ends in scandal called GOOD CHRISTIAN BELLES; A Count of Monte Cristo-esque soap starring Emily Van Camp titled REVENGE; A fantasy drama called ONCE UPON A TIME that follows a woman (Jennifer Morrison) who is drawn into a town where fairy tales might be real; Shonda Rhimes’ SCANDAL chronicling the ups and downs of the life and work of a professional fixer (Kerry Washington); A cross-dressing comedy called WORK IT featuring two unemployed car salesmen (Amury Nolasco, Ben Koldyke) who dress as women in order to get jobs as pharmaceutical reps; SUBURGATORY which tells the tale of what happens with a New Yorker (Jane Levy) moves to the “scary” suburbs; A single-camera comedy that takes a look at what it takes to survive as a modern man titled MAN UP; And THE RIVER, that follows a crew (including LONE STAR’s Eloise Mumford) through the Amazon in search of a missing adventurer. That’s the good news.

The bad news is to make room for said aforementioned series’ ABC officially gave pink slips to BROTHERS & SISTERS, V, NO ORDINARY FAMILY, DETROIT 1-8-7, MR. SUNSHINE, BETTER WITH YOU and OFF THE MAP. Pretty much everything but… HAPPY ENDINGS, which yes, we’re gonna say it, got their happy ending with a much deserved second season vote of confidence.
