Emmy Predictions 2011: Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

In anticipation of the upcoming 63rd Annual EMMY Awards (Airing Sunday September 18th at 8PM on FOX, CTV in Canada) theTVaddict.com is proud [or not-so-proud depending on how things turn out] to once again present our GUARANTEED EMMY WINNERS 2011*

NOMINEES: John Slattery (MAD MEN), Andre Braugher (MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE), Walton Goggins (JUSTIFIED), Peter Dinklage (GAME OF THRONES), Josh Charles (THE GOOD WIFE), Alan Cumming (THE GOOD WIFE)

SHOULD WIN: Alan Cumming, THE GOOD WIFE
In a field over-flowing with equally deserving nominees, Alan Cumming wins by a smile. Specifically, the one we never fail to get every time Eli Gold’s very-own cheshire cat-esque grin enters the frame.

WILL WIN: Peter Dinklage, GAME OF THRONES
Despite the fact that a small segment of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences might very well look to award Walter Goggins a trophy for inexcusably snubbing his Emmy worthy work on THE SHIELD, we can’t help but feel that a larger portion of the voting block will be itching to take this opportunity to ensure that the family drama infused fantasy epic that is HBO’s GAME OF THRONES walks away with at least one piece of acting hardware thanks to Dinklage’s mesmerizing portrayal of Tyrion Lannister.

SNUBBED: Dax Shepard, PARENTHOOD
Just how in love are we with Dax Shepard’s portrayal of the relationship-challenged wannabe-father-of-the-year Crosby Braverman? So much so that we’re willing to overlook the fact that he took Kristen Bell off the market. We’re just sayin’

*theTVaddict.com does not guarantee his “winning picks.” Do not, I repeat, Do not bet the house, kids or family pet on them!
