The Art of the Press Release: Special RAISING HOPE Edition!

Continuing his penchant for delivering press releases that cut through the clutter comes the latest from the genius behind RAISING HOPE, Greg Garcia. See for yourself, after the jump.

Dear Friends,

I hate to toot my own horn but I think we had a pretty great first season.  And I want to thank most of you for agreeing with me since you wrote such nice things about us last year.

But here we are.  Season Two.  The old “Sophomore Slump” as you guys like to call it.  I can see all of you anxiously waiting to pounce as soon as we start to slip.  So when we do, I offer you this little nugget of gold…  “RAISING HOPE is suffering from a case of the terrible twos.”  Not bad, right?  Quick, clever, snarky… everything you dream of in a bad review.

For those of you who can’t wait to use that little gem, you may just have to.  Because I don’t think we’ll start to really suck until later in the season.  So far, things have been going pretty good.  Our premiere episode is called “Prodigy” and explores the fact that Jimmy used to have amazing musical talents.  It guest stars Greyson Chance who is a fantastic young singer that has been featured on “Ellen” and his Youtube clip has over forty million views.  We’re hoping for half that number for our season premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 20 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

This episode is now available for review so hope you like it. And if you don’t, be sure to be the first person to use that nifty slam I offered up.

I can also offer you…

“Just when RAISING HOPE should be learning to walk they fall right on their face.”

“RAISING HOPE needs to be potty trained because lately they are dropping some serious turds.”

“Oh, Baby!  Has this show gotten bad!”

“RAISING HOPE sure stinks this year.  The network needs a diaper, I mean, schedule change.”

That’s all.  Hope all is well with you and your family.

Your pal,

Greg Garcia
