In a stunningly complex story spanning both AMC and ONE LIFE TO LIVE, gal pals Babe and Bianca go into labor at the same time and are the victims of a double baby switch. Babe’s child is given to OLTL’s Kelly (whose own newborn had died), while Bianca is left to believe that her own child (now being raised by an oblivious-at-first Babe) is dead. The story became controversial after Babe, realizing the truth, opted to allow Bianca to believe her child dead for many months.
