Newsflash: ABC Orders Full Seasons of REVENGE and SUBURGATORY

This just in: REVENGE is a dish best served… over the course of twenty-two episodes. Or at least that’s the belief of ABC President Paul Lee who announced today that the Emily Van Camp guilty pleasure has been given the go ahead of a full season. Also getting the green-light for a full 22-episode first season is SUBURGATORY, the half-hour single-camera laugher that continues to provide for a stellar bridge between THE MIDDLE and MODERN FAMILY. Not so lucky was the hilarious HAPPY ENDINGS, which fell short of a full season pick-up with an order for six more scripts. That said, a script order remains a big improvement over the status of CHARLIE’S ANGELS and PAN AM, both of which have yet to hear anything from the ABC brass. Stay tuned.
