Also joining Julianna Margulies and Jim Caviezel on the Tiffany Network’s schedule next season — alongside the already picked up HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, THE BIG BANG THEORY and CSI that is — will be 2 BROKE GIRLS, MIKE & MOLLY, CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI, HAWAII FIVE-0, THE MENTALIST, NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, 48 HOURS MYSTERY, 60 MINUTES, THE AMAZING RACE and UNDERCOVER BOSS. Said Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment in a statement released to the media mere minutes ago, “This large-scale renewal is testimony to the strength, stability and success of a deep and diverse roster of top-rated programming. It positions us for continued success next season and certainly creates an environment that will give our new shows the best possible chance to succeed.”
Not so lucky, is the criminally under-appreciated RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, the aging CSI: NY/MIAMI franchisees, newcomers A GIFTED MAN, UNFORGETTABLE, ROB and TWO AND A HALF MEN. All of whose fate — with the exception of TWO AND HALF MEN which will undoubtedly be renewed following what CBS characterized as “preliminary discussions regarding future seasons” with producing partner Warner Bros. Television — will most likely not be known until closer to the May UpFronts when the Network will have a clearer picture as to just how their currently-being-shot pilots turned out. So stay tuned.
