Question: When is the only time the Castle-verse just might approve of rising tensions between the show’s titular character and his partner-in-more-than-just-crime Beckett? Answer: When it affords a Whedone-verse reunion. Case in point, CASTLE’s Monday April 18th episode appropriately titled “Headhunters” that sees Castle partnered with Detective Ethan Slaughter, a tough and colorful cop from the city’s gang unit, played by none other than FIREFLY’s Adam Baldwin.
