Just when our interest in DEXTER was starting to wane following last season’s universally panned misadventures comes this one-two punch orchestrated by the fine folks at Showtime publicity. No really, as if this just released first look photo pitting brother (Dexter) against sister (Deb) wasn’t reason enough to get us back on the bandwagon, Showtime announced today that former CHUCK star Yvonne Strahovski has signed on to appear in a multi-episode arc during the upcoming seventh season of DEXTER.
According to the Network’s official release, Strahovski will play the role of Hannah McKay, an independent woman with a past that she hasn’t just struggled to put behind her, but one that will no doubt come back to haunt her when Dexter begins to suspect that there’s more to her than meets the eye after Miami Metro Homicide enlists her help in solving some old cases.
According to us, DEXTER’s seventh season September 30th premiere can’t come soon enough.
