With the June 28th deadline to return Emmy nominee ballots fast approaching, many of your favorite television web sites have begun to make their case for a handful of worthy 2012 nominees. Not to be outdone, we here at theTVaddict.com have decided — as we are wont to do — to take things one step further. Which is to say, in a completely altruistic effort to simplify things for the voting body that is the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, your friendly neighborhood TV Addict has decided to save those lucky enough to call themselves “Emmy Voters” from countless hours spent needlessly scrolling through a seemingly never ending PDF of worthy performers by presenting our “Emmy Nominations Made Easy!” Starting with our picks for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.

[146] Lena Dunham: In her debut television effort, Louis C.K.’s younger and better looking female counterpart fearlessly bares all (both literally and figuratively) in a manner so bold it wouldn’t surprise us if she actually ended up being a voice of her generation.
[149] Tina Fey: Despite what many have sighted as the show’s most uneven season to date, the closest thing we’ve got to a live-action Cathy equivalent still remains a cut above her comedy cohorts.
[155] Julia Louis-Dreyfus: With apologies to Old Christine, we’ll take these new adventures of Julia Louis-Dreyfus any day.
[163] Martha Plimpton: To meet this delightfully demure actress in person is to know just what a remarkable acting job she does week-in-and-week-out when it comes to transforming into the closest thing we’ve got to a modern-day Roseanne.
[164] Amy Poehler: Equal parts heartfelt and hilarious, Poehler’s portrayal of small town politico Leslie Knope not only gets our vote for the most-winning performance of the year, but earns extra credit for the positive picture she paints of local government. If only.
