Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Favorite Emmy Nomination Reactions

“I walked into hair and makeup this morning and Paul Rudd, who’s the star of the movie, turns to me and goes, ‘Hey man, congratulations on being nominated for an Emmy.’ What the f— is going on with my life?” said NEW GIRL star Max Greenfield on his Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nomination. “Two years ago I was auditioning for ZEKE AND LUTHER, and now I’m walking to hair and makeup and Paul Rudd is congratulating me on my Emmy nomination. I don’t know what’s happening.”

“Wow. My agent was right when he said, ‘You don’t have to bribe all the people to get nominated, Don. Just the right people.’ This is the best $246,000.00 I’ve ever spent. Thanks, Emmy.” said HOUSE OF LIES Star Don Cheadle on his Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series nomination.

“I’m thrilled to be included amongst one of MODERN FAMILY’s 14 Emmy nominations! I am celebrating with 10 gorgeous, tall, leggy showgirls. Not because that’s how I roll but because I’m in rehearsal for The Producers at The Hollywood Bowl. Also, because I like to make Eric Stonestreet jealous.” said MODERN FAMILY Star Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

“I’m a little groggy now, but nothing a few eye drops and a glass of champagne won’t fix,” said SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE hostess Cat Deeley on her Outstanding Reality Competition Host nomination. “It’s such an amazing adventure. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would still be here or that the show would do well. But here I am, still tricking all of you. It’s brilliant, just because the team who work on the show are so great. I’m so lucky to work on show where you don’t feel like your going to work.”

“No Emmy nomination for FRINGE. Ridiculous. So much talent. So much hard work. So much imagination. LLAP” was guest star Leonard Nimoy’s reaction (via @TheRealNimoy) to yet another year of egregious Emmy snubs for the under appreciated science fiction gem.
