With television talent both in front and behind the camera making a habit of tweeting photos ranging from spoilerific to hilarious, theTVaddict.com thought it might be fun to introduce a new feature to the site that we’ve not-so-cleverly decided to call “Photo of the Day.” Today’s subject, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly comes a first look at A&E’s BATES MOTEL. Executive produced by Carlton Cuse (LOST) and Kerry Ehrin (FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS), the series, premiering in early 2013 features Freddie Highmore (Finding Neverland) as a young Norman Bates, Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) as his beloved mother and promises to bring much more to the small screen than a certain iconic shower scene. Teased Cuse in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, “The town itself is very much a character in the show. ‘There are a lot of secrets that lurk beneath this bucolic veneer.”
