THE ORIGINALS Scoop: The Cast Dishes On What’s Next and Tease a Very Special VAMPIRE DIARIES Guest Star!

Life in the steamy city of New Orleans has taken a decidedly darker turn after last week’s cliffhanger revealing that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is missing yet again.  In addition, the Mikaelson brothers have shown in true bloody fashion that they will not tolerate any attacks on their family or Klaus’ baby-mama.  Everyone likes to think of Elijah (Daniel Gillies) as the gentlemanly and honorable brother, but they forgot his true nature — he will protect his family as viciously as his brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan).  It will always be blood over honor for the Mikaelsons.  But decisiveness and brutality is not going to keep Hayley safe if they are always leaving her unprotected.

So this week’s episode “Bloodletting” picks up with yet another frantic search for the missing werewolf girl carrying Klaus’ child.  Fortunately, a familiar face from Mystic Falls arrives just in time to aid in the search as Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) comes to town.  Despite the long-standing feud between Klaus and Tyler, they may be able to put aside their differences for the sake of locating Hayley — hopefully.

In the meantime, Sophie (Daniella Pineda) is going to be lying low, after her duplicitous plot to manipulate Klaus and Elijah into doing her bidding to eradicate Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) was exposed.  Then Rebekah has a big decision ahead of her — pursue the life of freedom she has always dream of, or stand by her family once more in the search for Hayley.  Then there’s Cami, the poor brainwashed niece of Father Kiernan (Todd Stashwick), who is trying desperately to figure out why her memories are failing her.  And that just leaves little darling witch Davina, who just wants to be a normal girl.  Will she get her wish and will she be the last of the great witches with their power dying out as the time for the Harvest expires? Or will she discover how to wield that power and use it to stir up a little more trouble in the French Quarter, much to Klaus, Marcel and everyone’s dismay?

During a recent press interviews with the cast of THE ORIGINALS, they took a few moments to share their thoughts on the brewing war between the vampires, witches, and werewolves and whether the humans will be caught in the crossfire.  They also dished on their character’s motivations, the blossoming love triangles, and teased what is upcoming with the arrival of Tyler and a very special episode involving the Casket Girls.

Here is what each had to say:
