HEMLOCK GROVE Season 2 Spoiler Alert: Shelley Lives!

Making its Season 2 debut on Friday, July 11th, Netflix’s horror series HEMLOCK GROVE returns with a new face portraying the gentle spirited Shelley. When last seen in Season 1, Shelley was running for her life after being shot in the back by Sheriff Sworn (Aaron Douglas), just after she killed Christina, the werewolf who had been terrorizing the town, to protect her family. Sister to Roman Godfrey (Bill Skarsgard) and daughter to Olivia Godfrey (Famke Janssen), but now framed for the murders by a mentally-unhinged Sheriff Sworn, Shelley is still on the run and in hiding.

Curiously Peter Rumancek (Landon Liboiron) had seen a vision of Shelley as he was leaving town in the Season 1 finale, showing her completely healed and no longer disfigured. But it was not known if Peter’s vision was of Shelley’s future or if he was seeing her as an angel after her death.

So Season 2, with Shelley’s return hopefully we will learn of her fate. In the meantime, above is a recently released photo from Netflix previewing Shelley when she returns.
