Conclusion: Impeccably cast and carefully crafted, we can pretty much guarantee that GOTHAM will be this Fall’s biggest breakout hit. Not only does the show arrive with some serious buzz backed by the DC and WB publicity machine, everybody — particularly us — love a classic good versus evil tale. Also working in GOTHAM’s favor is that this particular tale cleverly sidesteps Batman’s already well known origin story and focuses on a collection of iconic fan favorite villains such as Oswal Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Selina Kyle (Carmen Bicondova).
