With production commencing on CBS’ SUPERGIRL this week, Warner Bros Television and CBS cleverly wanted to get ahead of the inevitable slew of paparazzi pics by releasing an official look or two at Melissa Benoist as SUPERGIRL.
Said costume designer Colleen Atwood, the three-time Oscar® winner also responsible for the Flash and Arrow’s awesome duds, “I wanted to embrace the past, but more importantly, thrust her into the street-style action hero of today.”
Said us, “Mission Accomplished!”
