Starz has released a new ASH VS. EVIL DEAD poster today. The mini series is the long-awaited follow up to the classic horror franchise, The Evil Dead. For those unfamiliar with the films, Evil Dead centered around Campbell’s Ash and friends as they visited a woodland cabin where they accidentally released demons intent on possessing the living.
The newly released poster features Bruce Campbell wearing Ash’s chainsaw appendage while standing on Sam Raimi’s “The Classic” (1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88). Standing next to him are his new sidekicks, Pablo Simon Bolivar (Ray Santiago) and Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo). Also joining him is former Xena co-star Lucy Lawless as Ruby, a mysterious woman who thinks Ash is responsible for the outbreaks. Check out the poster below.
Ash vs. Evil Dead will be 10 half-hour episodes with Bruce Campebell reprising his role as Ash, who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility and maturity until a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and Ash is forced to face his demons – personal and literal.
ASH VS. EVIL DEAD premieres Halloween night at 9PM on Starz.
