Another member of the Lane family is coming to CBS’ SUPERGIRL.
24 actor Glenn Morshower has recently been cast as General Sam Lane, father of Lois and Lucy. He is set to make his first appearance after Lucy’s (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and will recur throughout the season. His arrival in National City will stir up trouble for Supergirl as he enlists her in a dangerous government initiative. His character in the series is described as “a powerful military lifer – and an overprotective father to both Lois Lane and her sister, Lucy.”
Best known for his long running role as Aaron Pierce in 24, Morshower is no stranger to military roles having played many on both television and film. He appeared in three Transformers movies, X-Men: First Class, Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., three different Star Trek series and Star Trek: Generations.
SUPERGIRL premieres Oct. 26th at 8:30 PM on CBS.
