If you saw the Bradley Cooper movie of the same name, then you already understand the basic premise of LIMITLESS, CBS’ newest action drama series.
This time we’re introduced to Brian Finch, a man who has come to realize that his dreams of being a famous musician aren’t going to come to fruition. When his father falls ill with a mysterious ailment, Brian is given an opportunity to take NZT, a drug that has incredible brain-boosting powers. All of a sudden he’s amazing at his temp jobs and can successfully diagnose his father. But soon the bodies start piling up when people connected to NZT begin turning up dead and Brian himself becomes a suspect.
When the FBI realizes how intelligent Brian is while on the drug, they want his help in solving some of their more complex cases, which lands him on a team with Agent Rebecca Harris, a formidable investigator with a dark past, and Agent Boyle, a former military officer and Rebecca’s confidante. But the FBI doesn’t know that Brian has a secret relationship with Sen. Edward Morra (Bradley Cooper, recurring), who has his own plans for his new protégé.
