ABC and Marvel Entertainment have released a new promotional poster for the upcoming third season of AGENTS OF SHIELD. In the poster, Coulson (Clark Gregg) sports a one-gloved, edgy leather look, while Daisy (Chloe Bennet) shows off her new Quake outfit. The poster’s tagline, “Are You Inhuman”, hints at the big question for this season, which will focus on the hunt for superpowered Inhumans.
The season premiere, “Laws of Nature” is described as follows:
“When Coulson and the team discover a new Inhuman, S.H.I.E.L.D. comes face to face with another organization searching for superpowered people. And still reeling from Simmons’ dramatic disappearance, Fitz goes to extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back.”
At the head of that organization is ENTOURAGE’S Constance Zimmer, who’s character, Rosalind Price will go head-to-head with Coulson and act as his antagonist. She’ll make her debut in the premiere and will recur throughout the season. Speaking of antagonists, the S.H.I.E.L.D. team will also have to deal with Inhuman villain, Lash, played by Matthew Villig. In the comics, Lash was one of the few chosen among his generation to receive the gift of Terrigenesis, an honor he believed not every member of his race was due. When Black Bolt awakened the powers of Inhuman descendants living among humanity, Lash embarked on a mission to find everyone affected, and judge for himself whether they were worthy to live with their new abilities. His powers revolve around energy; he is able to convert, absorb, and manipulate it to his will.
