Ratings: BONES and THE BLACKLIST Improve on Recent Season Finales, SLEEPY HOLLOW Slips

BONES and THE BLACKLIST fared better than their last season finale ratings, but neither did as well as last season’s premieres. Meanwhile, NBC’s week 2 shows had a slight dip and Fox’s SLEEPY HOLLOW reached series lows. ABC’s TGIT line-up had a slight week 2 dip as well, but the whole block remains solid. And CBS got big ratings for its football broadcast.

In terms of total viewers, CBS won the night (14.2 million, subject to change), followed by ABC (8.4 million), NBC (5.7 million) and Fox (4.8 million). See all numbers below (live + same day total viewers & adults 18-49 ratings).

8 p.m. BONES 6.1 million, 1.3 rating (last year premiere: 1.6 rating)
9 p.m. SLEEPY HOLLOW 3.6 million, 1.0 rating (last year premiere: 2.0 rating)

NBC
8 p.m. HEROES REBORN 5 million, 1.6 rating (last week: 6.1 million, 2.0 rating)
9 p.m. THE BLACKLIST 7.6 million, 1.8 rating (last year premiere: 3.5 rating; last year Thursday launch: 2.4 rating)
10 p.m. THE PLAYER 4.5 million, 0.9 rating (last week: 4.9 million, 1.2 rating)
