Rebecca Bunch is a successful attorney in the series premiere of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, but a chance encounter with an old boyfriend (Josh) changes her life completely. Upon hearing that he’s moving back to West Covina, California, she decides to give up a promotion and her normal life and move across the country.
As she “casually” tries to reconnect with Josh, she finds herself a new job (and a temporary enemy in one of her co-workers) and then decides to go on a date with one of Josh’s old friends. And in between all of that she’s obsessively stalking Josh on social media and singing about her feelings. CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND is more in line with JANE THE VIRGIN than anything else currently airing on The CW, but it’s a delightful show sprinkled with hilarity and insanity in equal measure. It’s fresh and new and that’s exactly why you should give it a chance.
