The CW is pulling the plug on BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. The series, starring Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan, will end with a 13 episode fourth season, which will air midseason or in the summer of 2016.
The show was loosely based on the 1980s CBS series and premiered in 2012. While the show never really got great ratings, a 13 episode third season just aired this past summer on The CW. The most recent season finale averaged 913,000 viewers.
