At New York Comic Con this past weekend, Warner Bros. unveiled a new extended trailer for season 2 of THE FLASH, which premiered last week. And while the premiere introduced us to Jay Garrick (another Flash) and hinted at Zoom, who will clearly be a big nemesis for Barry this season, the new preview shows us more about what’s to come.
In the preview, Jay explains his backstory and tells Barry that Zoom will do whatever it takes to destroy Barry so that he is the only speedster in the various alternate universes. To do this, he starts by sending metahumans into Barry’s world to kill him. The video also introduces new characters — including Officer Patty Spivot, who will be working with Joe.
THE FLASH airs Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
