This week’s episode of THE GRINDER is all about lying. First, in the obligatory scene from “The Grinder” show, we see Dean’s character catch one of his associates in a lie. Then, at work, Stewart reveals that the other side is somehow figuring out confidential information for their cases. Dean thinks that the firm has a mole and points the finger squarely at Claire, believing that she must be a traitor since she’s not interested in sleeping with him.
Stewart thinks that Dean’s suspicions are ridiculous, but Dean sets out to prove him wrong. Things take a bad turn when Todd tells Dean that he has inadvertently been the mole the whole time, leaving Dean depressed that his intuition was actually wrong. But when Stewart finds out the truth as well, he decides to use it to secretly prove that Dean isn’t always right. And back at home, Debbie and Stewart try to get to the bottom of who tampered with their DVR, which also leads to the resurfacing of an old lie between Stewart and Dean.
