Ruth may have to work with Eli on THE GOOD WIFE, but that doesn’t mean she won’t use the opportunity to torment him a little bit. In the next episode, Ruth puts him in a tiny office and then tells him that they need Alicia and her mother, Veronica (guest star Stockard Channing), to appear on a mother/daughter cooking show to help Peter’s campaign. Naturally, Ruth seems to enjoy giving Eli nearly impossible tasks, but he delivers and gets the two women to make an appearance. Unfortunately, the show ends with disastrous results.
Meanwhile, Diane wants to get the equity partners together to discuss Alicia (do they want to bring her back to the firm?) and Alicia and Lucca work together on a complicated court case involving a designer drug dealer.
