Merida is doing her best to turn Gold into a hero on ONCE UPON A TIME, but in the next episode she’s going to resort to extreme measures. Ordered by Emma to turn him in to a man worthy to pull Excalibur from the stone, Merida quickly realized that the best way to get Gold to fight was to threaten those people and things that were important to him. And so this is going to lead to a rash plan, because Merida’s next action is to threaten Belle’s life. In the clip below, we see the red haired warrior take aim at Belle in order to provoke Gold into fighting back.
Elsewhere in the episode, we’ll see Merlin recruit Belle, Hook and David to help break Lancelot out of prison in a Camelot flashback and they’ll also happen upon Merida (watch a sneak peek). When Merida heads off to find a way to save her brothers, it’s Belle who accompanies her on her adventure.
