If we thought the last episode was intense at the dinner table scene with “Not so perfect Penny,” then tonight’s all-new episode of GREY’S ANATOMY will be even more so when Dr. Penelope Blake gets transferred and begins her residency at Grey Sloan Memorial. And, of course, she gets assigned to Meredith’s service -— as if they both didn’t have enough with seeing each other at the dinner party, now they’ll have to try and put their personal problems aside.
It’s certainly not easy to have the person who essentially just stood by and watched as your husband breathed his last breath work closely with you. In the sneak peek below, Meredith tries her best to “rise above” the situation, while Amelia is still upset at both Penny and Mer. It will be interesting to see how this plays with the dynamic at the hospital with the doctors themselves, as they all know (at least those present at the dinner party) who Penny is and her connection to Meredith. As far as I know, Mer will try her best, but how long can she keep it up with out lashing out at Penny?
Meanwhile, Richard wrestles with how to progress his relationship with Maggie when an old friend visits the hospital, and April brings in a case of a young boy from the Middle-East.
