On this week’s CHICAGO FIRE, Dawson will return after the devastating loss of her baby last week, but it turns out some people don’t think she is fit for duty. In the sneak peek, the new chief Riddle questions Dawson on her abilities and her fitness to return to work. In an effort to fight back Boyden decides that the Firehouse will host a wedding that was derailed due to a fire.
The sneak peek below speaks more to Dawson’s relationship with Matt, as she tells someone off-camera that she saw a perfect life with him, complete with house and baby. But now, that doesn’t seem possible. And claiming she understands that life can’t always be perfect, a tearful Gabby says that it would be nice if she wasn’t always “thrown a curve ball.” We couldn’t agree more, and hope that this week she can catch a break from Riddle and just get back to work.
