Vanessa Williams joins THE GOOD WIFE as Courtney Paige, a rather wealthy woman who is interested in backing a candidate in the race, according to Ruth. But she’s worried about the state of Peter and Alicia’s marriage, so Eli arranges for her to meet the Florrick couple to calm her fears and eventually she agrees to contribute to Peter’s campaign. We’re also going to get some surprise news from Jackie and Howard and it looks like there’s still a spark between Peter and Alicia.
Meanwhile, Alicia and Lucca take on a new case involving an automotive executive who is represented by Lockhart, Agos & Lee and an employee represented by Louis Canning who was involved in a terrible accident while test-driving a car operating in “driverless” mode. And Alicia follows up with Jason about the liability issue of having him on staff.
