THE VAMPIRE DIARIES Sneak Peek: Dare To Dance With The Devil In The Pale Moonlight

Tonight on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, Julian (guest star, Todd Lasance) oozes his metaphorical slime all over Lily’s (guest star, Annie Wersching) party dress.  She is throwing a “murder party” to celebrate Mary Louise (guest star, Teressa Liane) and Nora’s (guest star, Scarlett Byrne) anniversary.

When the humans that Julian has been stockpiling for blood disappear, Matt (Zach Roerig) calls Caroline (Candice King) to ask for help in locating them.

Compelled to remain almost comatose, the group of humans have been equipped with saline IV drips to keep them alive and fresh.  One may assume that those individuals (aka “blood bags on the hoof”) will be invited to the party…as hors d’oeuvres.

The Heretics will be feasting with fine wine, beautiful attire and Type-O Negative.

In an effort to eliminate a new threat posed by Julian, Stephan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) put a risky plan into motion.

The ill-tempered Julian (whose tantrums are nasty enough to make Damon’s mood swings look like the Salvatore brother is on Prozac) has a plan.

The dastardly Julian forces Lily into the most difficult decision of her life…choosing between her elder son and pseudo-daughter, Valerie (guest star, Elizabeth Blackmore), the Heretic.

Julian may not anticipate it, but there is a third option…Lily could opt to kill him instead.

While on the subject of children, they are the reason that Caroline cannot help Matt.  She has to tell Stefan that she is pregnant with Alaric and Jo’s twins.

Not sure there is a protocol for saying, “Honey, I accidentally got pregnant when the Gemini coven transferred Jo’s babies to me for safekeeping when Kai killed her.”

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES also stars Kat Graham, Matt Davis, and Michael Malarkey.  Tonight’s episode, “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” was written by Brett Matthews and directed by Leslie Libman.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
