On this week’s episode of CHICAGO FIRE, it looks like Chief Boyden will have to take some time after to clear his name. In the sneak peek, Dawson shows up with a case of beer and some much needed support. Boyden explains how the tension of having this accusation is hanging over his head, “like a bowling bowl” and his wife is “pulling out her hair.” While surely metaphorical, it certainly hasn’t been, and won’t be, easy on the couple as they face the charges against the Chief of Police.
But all hope is not lost, as Gabby informs Boyden that her brother has agreed to have Intelligence search for the con woman who is causing all this trouble, meaning they may gain some truth in all this. After all, as Gabby says, Roger picked the wrong people to mess with this time. They run into the fire, and Roger is just another rat that they will step on if necessary.
