Brian Finch faced death in the winter finale of LIMITLESS when Casey took NZT and held him hostage while trying to escape the FBI. But when the show returns from its hiatus tonight, it’s Senator Edward Morra who will be facing death when an assassin makes an attempt on his life. After the assassination attempt, Brian is ordered to sabotage the FBI’s investigation into it in order to prevent exposing Morra’s connection to NZT.
Enter Georgina Haig, who will be playing Piper in the upcoming episode. Morra’s narrative is that Piper is a rogue agent of his who killed her boyfriend and went on the run. But Piper approaches Brian at his parents’ house and tells him that Morra is lying. She tells him that she and some others had helped develop the enzyme for NZT to curb the terrible side effects and that she had been framed by Morra for not towing the line. Will Brian believe her and get out from Morra’s thumb or will he stick with the Senator?
