THE GOOD WIFE ended its winter finale with Eli’s confession to Alicia that he had never allowed Will’s confession of love to get to Alicia, which caused a huge rift between these two former allies. Alicia is furious at Eli’s actions and, in a preview for the January return, she chases him out of the apartment with the threat of violence.
But Alicia doesn’t have the luxury of time to work through Eli’s confession and what it meant for her relationship with Will. Because the Florrick family will be crammed into Peter’s campaign bus with Eli and Ruth on their way to the Iowa Caucuses, which means tensions will be running high. Once they arrive, Peter will be attempting a high-risk political stunt to gain votes for his presidential bid. But will he succeed? There’s also trouble brewing at Cary and Diane’s firm and Cary believes that Louis Canning is behind it, but Diane isn’t convinced. And then there’s David Lee’s confession of fraud. Yikes!
