Harlee agreed to help the FBI on the premiere of SHADES OF BLUE but now she’s struggling with the guilt of betraying her crew. After Wozniak told her that there was a mole among their group and he wanted her help to find it (because she’s the only one he trusts), she’s trying to figure out how to help him without exposing herself. She accuses her FBI handler of having a leak on his end, but he’s convinced that no one knows the informant is her. Still, Harlee is paranoid that Wozniak’s search for the rat could lead to her, so she suggests polygraphing the entire crew — a plan that, of course, backfires.
Meanwhile, an appeals case forces Wozniak to watch tapes from his first meeting with Harlee, which reveals a dark secret from their shared past and causes him to see her in a new light. And Wozniak and Harlee getting in the middle of a drive-by shooting leads the crew to scramble to find the perpetrator.
