Axe takes precautions in this week’s all new episode of BILLIONS. After basically daring Chuck to pursue him, he installs rigorous compliance measures to protect the company against the investigation started by Chuck and his office. Back at the US Attorney’s office, their attention is derailed by their concurrent investigation into an Axe rival, billionaire Steven Birch. And Axe’s fixer, Hall, cultivates a mole inside the US Attorney’s office.
Meanwhile, when Axe impulsively fires an employee who disagrees with him, he compels Wendy to try and clean up the mess that the former trader could cause for him, thus proving her loyalty to the firm. Axe also proves that he can hold on to an old grudge for a very long time when he makes an aggressive move under the guise of a charitable contribution to the symphony.
