Thirteen years after the original show ended, THE X-FILES is back! Fox Mulder is approached by Tad O’Malley, a conservative web-TV show host who believes that he has helped uncover a significant government conspiracy. Mulder reaches out to his former partner and girlfriend, Dana Scully, as O’Malley introduces them to Sveta, a possible alien abductee who will challenge all of Mulder’s beliefs about the existence of aliens and the government’s role in covering them up.
As Mulder and Scully get pulled back in to the world of conspiracies and the paranormal, FBI Assistant Walter Skinner re-opens the X-Files and gives them an opportunity to delve back in to the past — but this time, there’s a 2016 spin on the old 1990s conspiracies.
