Jess had been sequestered for jury duty and, as you can imagine, the apartment is going to hell in a handbasket on NEW GIRL THIS WEEK.
In the appropriately titled episode “No Girl”, one of Schmidt and Nick’s old “friends” named Todd contacts them about Schmidt’s upcoming bachelor party. Since he has access to a lot of money, Todd is suggesting a trip to Vegas. But Nick hates hanging out with Todd and wants to throw Schmidt a bachelor party on his own — without Todd’s influence or cash. So he suggests they all head to Tokyo. The only problem is that Nick can’t afford it.
He comes up with the idea to turn the loft into an airbnb to pay for the trip he’s already booked, which, as you can imagine, leads to a host of zany characters coming in to the apartment.
Meanwhile, Winston thinks that KC may be cheating on him and enlists Cece’s help on how to deal with the situation since Jess is gone.
