NCIS: NEW ORLEANS Sneak Peeks: No Bon Temps

Happy Mardi Gras!!  The high today in the Crescent City is 55 degrees and sunny.  I made beignets for breakfast and jambalaya is on the stove for dinner.

Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS is opening his bar to the public on Fat Tuesday and jamming on the ivories with Big Easy jazz greats, Jon Cleary, and Treme Prince, Glen David Andrews.

There are 11 Mardi Gras parades today and enough food and ojen anisette to leave the thousands of revelers and bead seekers with indigestion and hangovers for days.

Two people also will be suffering the aftereffects of drugs…but not by choice.  Pride is abducted and drugged when he goes out back to sign for a liquor delivery.

He awakens to find himself restrained in a room with New Orleans Mayor Douglas Hamilton (Steven Weber) with what appears to be their captors in the next room.

The NCIS: NEW ORLEANS team must spring into action to save the two men.  After all, Dwayne is the best cook among the group, and somebody needs to make the etouffee.

Beads and beats will be streaming on Bourbon Street, and this is no time to be kidnapped by bad guys in Mardi Gras masks.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS also stars Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, Rob Kerkovich, Shalita Grant, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell and CCH Pounder. Guest stars on tonight’s episode, “Father’s Day,” are Lee Tergesen, Chris L. McKenna, David Starzyk, Chasty Ballesteros, James Dumont, Brandi Wilson, Michael Dardant, Deanna Meske and Dominique L. Hayes.

“Father’s Day” was written by Sam Humphrey and directed by Dennis Smith.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs at a special time tonight at 9:02 p.m. on CBS (U.S) and Global TV (Canada).
