GREY’S ANATOMY returns tonight after a long hiatus with a midseason premiere that will have us all gasping for air. The much anticipated episode directed by two-time Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington will have Meredith lying on a hospital bed fighting for her life after a brutal beating from a patient.
After Derek’s death last season, we knew this season would be about her journey and that’s exactly what this episode will set the tone for. We’ve seen Meredith survive a drowning, a shooting, a plane crash and many more life-threatening and difficult situations. Can Meredith survive this ordeal?
