There appears to be some history not only between Dawson and the new firefighter, but between the new firefighter and Severide on this week’s CHICAGO FIRE. We know that Stella and Dawson are great friends from back in the day but, in the newly released sneak peek, when Dawson mentions Severide’s name it gets a visual reaction from newly-joined 51 firefighter. Coincidentally, Severide just happens to walk in at this moment and viewers get a glimpse into their past.
Severide apologizes for an embarrassing moment a few years back where he apparently came into Stella’s back porch with a six-pack, not realizing she was married at the time. She explains that her now ex-husband was none-too-happy with that situation and, after apologizing again, Severide leaves while they both share a smile. It looks like Officer Kidd is going to be a good fit here at 51.
