NBC has granted a renewal to freshman comedy series SUPERSTORE starring America Ferrera.
“We’re thrilled to renew a show that’s incredibly funny and relatable, full of great characters brought to life by this incredible cast, writers and producers,” Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment said. “After such a successful first season, we look forward to seeing more of the wonderful America Ferrera, Ben Feldman and the rest of this hilarious cast in season two.”
Season to date, SUPERSTORE is averaging a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers overall in “live plus seven day” results from Nielsen Media Research, making it NBC’s highest rated first-year comedy in two years. So far this season, SUPERSTORE is topping eight of the 10 other first-year comedies on the Big 4 networks in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.
SUPERSTORE airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
