For most of season 3 of THE 100 so far, the storyline about the mysterious City of Light has been pushed to the background in favor of the more pressing drama between Polis and Arkadia. Yet now that Jaha has arrived back home, ALIE and her master plan (which involves Raven) will be front and center in this week’s episode, titled “Bitter Harvest.”
They say we reap what we sow, and for most on the show the result won’t be good. After taking Jaha’s pill last week, Raven is seemingly happier and healthier than she’s been in a long while. She’s no longer feeling any pain, but of course everything in life comes with a price. As the grieving and frustrated citizens of Arkadia (like Jasper) are won over one by one by Jaha’s miracle cure, Abby must investigate and find out what is happening to everyone. She begins to discover that there may even be bigger side effects to the pill than anyone realized.
Meanwhile, Kane has bigger concerns, while he tries to keep a close eye on Pike. After the massacre of Grounders last week, there’s no telling what the new Chancellor has planned. The only way to take down Pike may be from the inside. Back in Polis, Clarke and Lexa are taking some time for themselves after deciding not to march on Arkadia. However, an unexpected something (or someone) from Roan, the new King of the Ice Nation, could shatter Clarke’s newfound sense of inner peace.
